Since September 2nd 2021   In 2008, Gai established a pioneering Software Outsourcing program for Cisco Systems in Ramallah and later became the director of Cisco Programs for Economic Development in the Palestinian Authority. Gai was deeply involved in the emerging High Tech scene in the West Bank and serve in this position until 2015. In Parallel Gai led Cisco’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Israel and was the head of Cisco Networking Academy in Israel, Greece and Cyprus. In this role Gai co-founded Ma’antech in 2011 and served as the Executive Director. Ma’antech is a Cisco and President Peres’ initiative to integrate the Israeli-Arabs with the High Tech industry. In this role Gai assembled a coalition of more than 50 leading High Tech companies under Ma’antech’s umbrella. The number of Arab Engineers in the Industry was tripled during his term. Upon leaving Cisco, late 2015, Gai founded GeoFree Software, Providing Software Services with Palestinian engineers and Consultancy Services on Workplace Diversity and Israeli-Palestinian cooperation. Gai volunteer as a mentor and consultant to Israeli and Palestinian entrepreneurs. Prior to the above Gai held various engineering and management positions in Cisco R&D, InfoGear, National Semiconductor and other companies. Gai Is married with three children and one grandson. Interested in photography and film editing. Gai holds a BA in Computer Science from the Technion, Haifa, Israel. gai@ipcc.org.il
