Yishay Sorek
Yishay is the co-founder and Head of Strategy at Yokwe technologies, a venture building company focused on long-term partnerships between Israeli and GCC companies mainly in the AgriFood and industry 4.0 spaces.
He is an entrepreneur and designer of innovation-based ecosystems, advising international organizations.
Yishay served as the Director of Economic Development at the Portland Trust, Tel-Aviv, and previously as the Director of Regional Development and international Relations at the Ministry for Regional Cooperation under the late Shimon Peres.
He served as a the Executive Director of Israel Jordan Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with Chamber’s Chairman the late Benjamin Gaon.
Yishay has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, Master in the History and Philosophy of Science and Ideas from the Tel Aviv University and LLB from the Hebrew University.
